SF Sketchfest is very proud to honor the inimitable Patton Oswalt, who began performing standup as early as the 1980's and who has grown to be one of comedy's most lauded comedic minds.

From headlining at comedy clubs all over the United States since 1996 and appearing in his own numerous standup specials on Comedy Central and HBO to regular roles in beloved television series ("The King of Queens," "United States of Tara" and more), Patton has continued to evolve and build on his unique, sharp, and hilarious perspectives, taking them to screenplays and books, including the 2015 release of his memoir, "Silver Screen Fiend: Learning About Life from an Addiction to Film."

As a film actor himself, Patton is known for his performance as Remy in the Pixar smash hit "Ratatouille" as well as numerous other roles in films such as "Starsky and Hutch," "Young Adult," "Big Fan," and "Freaks of Nature."

Patton continues to write, tour in sold-out venues, and star in television and film and SF Sketchfest is delighted to take a moment with the busy and prolific comedian to pay tribute. Joining Patton in conversation will be Bay Area icon Boots Riley.
